In the workshop today: a 1973 Datsun 240z, fresh out of a complete restoration. We take you all the way around the car – bodywork, interior, engine bay – and of course we fire up the straight-six for you.
The car originally came from Texas and was rebuilt with over 1,800 hours of work. In the video we show you how to spot the quality of a proper restoration: panel gaps, underbody, paint finish, and the small details like the original Fairlady fender emblems.
